What will you be doing?

The Stock Manager is the person who oversees our bulk, box and container stocks. You are the link between the productionlocations in Brakel and Gameren, internal and external suppliers and customers as well as our Finance department.
You are part of the Inside Sales Department together with two colleagues who both manage the incoming and outgoing flow of goods. They have a focus on the movement of goods, customer reconciliation and (freight) documents, whereas you focus on keeping the stock correct, both physically and in our ERP system. You ensure that the actual stock and stock in ERP are matching, so that all of your colleagues can rely upon the stock levels in ERP. In addition to interfacing with various departments, you will also have a focus on setting up warehouse locations and the input and output of the various product flows.


The responsibilities of the Stock Manager are:

  • The administrative handling and processing of (mutations in) raw materials and finished goods;
  • Maintaining proper segregation between allocated stock and free stock, both in the ERP and physically;
  • Managing various customer inventories;
  • Balancing proper inventory between the two work locations;
  • Acting as a point of contact for the Finance department;
  • Being the point of contact for the other departments that depend on Stock, such as Production (for work stock), Sales (for customer stock) and Engineering (a.o. for test equipment.);
  • Coordinating and actively supporting stock counts;
  • Advising on, devising and implementing inventory strategies in cooperation with management;
  • Holding, setting up and managing safety stocks;
  • Helping ensure that the organization adheres to Safety, Environmental, Quality and Health guidelines;
  • Assisting colleagues who have questions regarding Stock.

What do we expect from you?

To fulfill this role successfully you will possess:

  • Minimum MBO+ thinking and working level.
  • An education in the direction of Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
  • Available for 32-40 hours per week.
  • Good knowledge of working with an ERP package.
  • Good knowledge of Excel.
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language both verbally and in writing, German and/or Polish is nice to have.Good knowledge of business process management and a good understanding of the importance of accurate stock keeping.
  • Willingness to persevere in the face of adversity and succeed in a challenging environment.
